Cancellation policy
1. GENERAL
1.1. The following Lost Crates subscription terms and conditions (“Subscription T&Cs”) are incorporated in to and form a part of the Sound of Vinyl Terms of Sale (the “Terms of Sale”) and will apply if you purchase a Lost Crates subscription (“Subscription”) on this Webstore. All capitalised terms not defined herein will have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Sale.
1.2. Universal Music is a trading name of Universal Music Operations Limited (“UMO”). Wherever you see “Universal Music”, “we”, “our” “us” in these Subscription T&Cs, this means UMO and any of its associates, subsidiaries, or any parent company (including the ultimate parent company) and any subsidiary of any such parent company for the time being. From time to time we may use the services of third parties to assist us in the provision of this Webstore, however unless otherwise stated, the Services are provided to you by UMO.
1.3. By purchasing a Subscription via the Webstore, you accept and agree that your use of this Webstore and any purchase you may make is subject to these Subscription T&Cs, as well as the Terms of Sale. If you do not agree to these Subscription T&Cs, you should not use the Webstore. You should print a copy of these Subscription T&Cs for future reference.
1.4. Your use of the Webstore (whether you purchase a Subscription or not) will also be subject to our General Website Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. 2. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AND BILLING
2.1. When signing up for a Subscription, you are agreeing a 3-month subscription to receive 3 x 12“ vinyl records chosen at random by UMO, to be delivered to your named delivery address for a fixed monthly amount of £30.
2.2. Subscriptions can only be purchased by those with a United Kingdom delivery address, we do not ship the Subscription products outside of the United Kingdom.
2.3. You must have a registered customer account to order and purchase and manage the Subscription, with correct, accurate and valid card payment details. For further information on the payment methods we accept, please see the Sound of Vinyl Terms of Sale.
2.4. The Subscription consists of an initial charge immediately on sign up, followed by recurring periodic charges on the same date each month for the fixed 3-month subscription period being 1 May to 31 July (the “Subscription Availability Period”).
2.5 You may sign up for a Subscription at any point during the Subscription Availability Period, but your Subscription will only start from the month you sign up and will not be back dated (i.e. if you sign up on 2 June 2024, you will only receive the boxes for June and July).
2.6. By entering into this Contract, you acknowledge that your Subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to deactivation. UMO will notify you via email connected to your account prior to each monthly subscription charge being taken and will take the next monthly subscription payment without further authorisation from you, until you provide prior notice that you have terminated this authorisation or wish to change your payment method. To terminate your authorisation or change your payment method please contact our customer care team via https://lostcrates.zendesk.com/hc/en-us.
3. SUBSCRIPTION SHIPPING
3.1. Your Subscription products will ship on the same date every month and this date will be notified to you via email. Subscription products may not ship on your billing date and are subject to separate shipping timelines. You will receive a separate communication when physical products are ready to ship.

4. CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
4.1. Cancelling your Subscription is easy. You just need to go to your account area on our Webstore and follow these steps. This must be completed by 11:59 PM the day before the following month's billing date:
- Going to your Lost Crates Account > Subscriptions > Manage
- Or contacting Customer Service
4.2. If you do not cancel your Subscription prior to 11:59 PM the day before the following month's billing date then your Subscription cancellation will only be effective from the following month.
4.3. Subscriptions cannot be skipped or paused. If you want to skip a month, you must cancel your Subscription and sign up again when you want to restart your Subscription.
4.4. We reserve the right at our absolute discretion not to renew your Subscription at any time without giving any reasons for our decision. Such reasons may include (but not limited to) suspicion of fraud.
5. RETURNS
5.1. For information on Returns, please see our Returns policy in the Sound of Vinyl Terms of Sale.
Please note your 14 day cooling off period as detailed in paragraph 12.6 of the Sound of Vinyl Terms of Sale only applies from delivery of your first month of the Subscription. Further, as detailed in paragraph 12.6(b) of the Sound of Vinyl Terms of Sale you must return all of the Products to us immediately in the same condition you received it (at your own cost and risk).
Your rights under paragraph 12.9 are not affected.
6. CHANGES TO THE SUBSCRIPTION AND SUBSCRIPTION T&CS
6.1. UMO reserves the right to make changes to the Subscription at any time. UMO will alert you via email if any of the following changes occur:
(a) If Subscription fees change
(b) If Products or items within a Subscription offering change
(c) If Products or items are no longer available
6.2. If you do not agree to these changes, you may cancel your Subscription prior to your next Subscription Period in accordance with Section 4 above. Your continued Subscription constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
