Aldous Valensia Clarkson, better known as Valensia, is a Dutch composer, producer, singer-songwriter and multi- instrumentalist. In 1993 he released his debut album Valensia, influenced by Kate Bush and Queen. It contained four singles; “The Sun”, “Nathalie”, “Tere” and “Gaia”. The latter was an ode to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and became his worldwide hit single. It entered on #2 in the Dutch charts and spent almost 20 weeks i. n the international album charts. A notable fact about “Gaia” is that Valensia played all recorded instruments for the track.
Valensia is available as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl and includes an insert.
