This project shows an evolution of the award-winning duo’s signature sound: \u003cstrong\u003evocal harmonies, hooky guitar riffs\u003c\/strong\u003e and their combining of sweet with grit. There is a distinct nod to \u003cstrong\u003e1970’s pop \u003c\/strong\u003ethroughout the record too, with \u003cstrong\u003estrings and backing vocals \u003c\/strong\u003ereminiscent of \u003cstrong\u003eBacharach and The Carpenters\u003c\/strong\u003e. Written and recorded in their studio and released through their label Archtop Records, this album is their strongest and most vulnerable, showcasing their ‘\u003cem\u003eimmaculate harmonies\u003c\/em\u003e’ (Rolling Stone Magazine).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e  Words from the band - \u003cem\u003e‘What we’ve learnt: writing an album all about joy is one thing, but writing it from a place of struggle is something else altogether. And when there is an absence of it, there is always hope. And it’s hope that keeps us living.
